For some years now, her work relates to migration and its principal actors: refugees and asylum-seekers.
Rebuild, 2016
Her project, entitled Rebuild, was developed through encounters with Syrian refugees living in Leipzig, Germany.
They rebuild their present and prepared their future in a peaceful country surrounded by an unknown language, a population of anonymous peoples, different cultures and stories. They are slowly discovering this city, which will become their home. Their past lives are still imprinted in their memory, some areas of Leipzig bring back memories from Aleppo, Raqqa or Damascus.
Rebuild reflects elements of Syrian cities in pictures of their host city, evoking a mix of memories within the new landscapes they now live in.
