Winners 2017

Margot Lançon & Chloé Simonin

Margot Lançon lives and studies in Geneva. She is currently following a Bachelor in Visual Arts at HEAD-Geneva. Chloé Simonin lives and works in Geneva. In June 2017, she obtained a Bachelor in Information / Fiction at HEAD-Geneva.

Their paths crossed in 2017 while their respective research focused on the same reflections, those of displacement, exile and the construction of an identity. The film In three seconds, you can be on the other side of this wall is a first collaboration between the two artists.

In Three Seconds, You Can Be on The Other Side of This Wall, 2017

At 19, Yérusalem is a young Eritrean. She came to Switzerland three years ago to seek political asylum. Jérémie is a young adolescent. He goes to Yerusalem's school to train for "parkour".

This short film looks at two teenagers who share the same age but for whom the future is not written in the same way. At the age of all possibilities, Jerusalem dreams only of obtaining a status.

Despite their differences, sometimes difficult access to the language and the gap between their two cultures, Jerusalem and Jérémie experience otherness.
