2017 Will Not Take Place, 2017
2017 will not take place is a documentary work carried out in Paris between autumn 2016 and spring 2017. Activists of the alter-globalization movement experienced an unprecedented year of protest. The state of emergency being in force since the attacks of November 13, 2015, these circles had to face a powerful and unprecedented coercive arsenal. To respond to this strong repression, this generation wanted to get involved through a new tactic, that of the "Black Bloc". In response to the war of images between the police, demonstrators and the media, this project isolates the actors from the demonstrations. These fragments thus created allow spectators to recompose an image of their own.
